District Legal Aid Senior Panel Lawyer Mr. Md. Khalekuzzaman said that Many cases were not heard during the COVID-19 pandemic period, there are even many litigation waiting for the hearing, he asked acting district legal aid officer sir to give him special importance about this issue. It is too late for the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court to hear all the cases from the entire Upazila level police station at once. There is no place to sit for panel lawyers in the New District Legal Aid Office. We can't talk to clients because we don't have a safe environment in the new District Legal Aid Office. So I'm requesting on behalf of the lawyers that you take a good look at the matter so that we can sit here and talk to the client and handle the case.
Dhaka Judge court, Pesker Mr. Md. Shohel said that the panel lawyers do not give us the hearing papers of the case during the hearing but give them after the hearing, which is very problematic with our work. We want to tell the panel lawyers through you that all the case related documents are submitted before the hearing. Clients will not be absent on the day of the hearing if they make a list of who is providing legal aid services, give them lawyer phone no, which court the cases will be hearing, when they are providing services.
